Children's Home Guttahalli

Currently we can offer 12 street and slum children a home far away from the slums of Bangalore and the rural surroundings. They should be given the opportunity to have a childhood and adolescence in which they can go to school like their peers from better classes - without worrying about their daily survival - and are optimally accompanied and supported during their school career. 

Even though we can hardly change anything about the slum situation in Bangalore and the rural surroundings, we change EVERYTHING for the children who now live in Guttahalli and give them a chance to break out of the vicious circle. 

Education

Education This training support program is intended to help girls and boys from disadvantaged families from the surrounding villages to achieve better training qualifications and thus give them better opportunities to realize their own hopes and dreams. 

Currently, we are supporting 20 children and college students from poor families who would otherwise have no chance to continue their education because of their social background by covering the costs of school fees, bus tickets and textbooks. 

Tuition Classes

SARF currently offers tutoring and exam preparation classes with a qualified teacher for 25 girls and boys from poorer families. Since the grade point average in the intermediate and final examinations in India is a major factor in the future opportunities of the young people, we also want to make this education possible for families who would otherwise not be able to afford it for their children.
